Susan L. Roth taught art history and art technique to all ages after she completed a master's degree in printmaking. Her first book was published in 1984, and in 1985 she became a full-time author and illustrator. Susan divides her time between New York and Maryland, in the US. Dianna Hutts Aston is the author of several picture books. She lives in Texas with her husband and two children. E. B. Lewis has illustrated more than 30 books and is a former winner of the Coretta Scott King Medal. He lives in New Jersey, USA.
