Peter Kent has written and illustrated over 50 fiction and non fiction books and has won awards in the Netherlands and the UK including The Scientific American Young Readers Book Award (1998) and American National Council of Social Studies Award (1998). He lives in Norwich Nancy Bond is the author of a number of books for young readers, including The Voyage Begun, a Boston Globe-Horn Book Award Honor Book; A Place to Come Back To, an American Library Association Best Book for Young Adults and a Booklist Editor's Choice; and Truth to Tell. She wrote after attending library school in a Welsh town outside of Aberstwyth, the book's setting. She lives in Concord, Massachusetts. Diane Lindsey Reeves holds an undergraduate degree in elementary education and a master's-level certification in applied communications. She is the author of the Career Ideas for Teens series for Facts On File and Checkmark Books. She currently resides in Raleigh, NC. Lindsey Clasen is an editorial assistant and researcher for Bright Futures Press. She lives in Asheville, NC.
