Our Phonic Dictation series was written to develop and transfer pupils' phonic and spelling skills to extended reading and writing tasks. A particular phonic concept is the focus of each passage. Pupils are required to complete five tasks for each passage, demonstrate their understanding by illustrating it and attaching labels, identifying and correcting spelling and punctuation errors, copying the passsage to focus on handwriting and then the passage is dictated to them. Speech pathologiests, occupational therapists and teachers collaborated in the developmental of this valuable resource.

This book is aimed at children in primary school.
