Doctor Hoof is a horse doctor. He only treats horses. But when he moves to a new town, he soon finds out that he's the only horse around! One by one his neighbours come to see him, but he can't treat them if they aren't horses. Or can he? Will Doctor Hoof ever find himself some new patients - and some new friends?

She runs the website www wordpool. co. uk which promotes children's books and reading. Garry Parsons studied Fine Art at Brighton College and after that he went on to study Illustration. He is a talented new illustrator, whose work has captured the imaginations of children all over the UK. Billy's Bucket won the 2004 Children's Book Award. Krong! is his first book as an author/illustrator.
