"Duel!: Burr and Hamilton's Deadly War of Words" by Dennis Brindell Fradin explores the intense rivalry between two of America's founding figures, Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr. Set against the backdrop of early American politics, the narrative delves into their escalating conflict fueled by ideological differences and personal animosities. As their clash unfolds through heated correspondence and public debates, tensions rise, ultimately leading to the infamous duel in 1804 that changed both their lives. The book captures the fervor of a young nation on the brink of defining its identity, highlighting how personal vendettas can shape historical events.
