Kevin Cunningham is an author and travel writer. He has written about Arthur Ashe, Condoleezza Rice, and Joseph Stalin. He lives in Chicago, Illinois. Deborah Kent's first young adult novel, Belonging, was published in 1978 by Dial. Since then, she has written 18 young adult novels and over 50 children's non-fiction titles, mainly on topics of American history. Educated at Oberlin College and Smith College, Deborah was a social worker for several years before moving to Mexico and becoming a writer. Today she lives in Chicago with her daughter and husband, the children's author R. Conrad Stein. Nick Hunter is an experienced author of non-fiction books for children.
