The maps are annotated with colourful pictorial icons pointing to places of interest, and the pages feature photographs and artwork which help build up a picture of each area, including people, activities, famous cities, buildings and landmarks, food, wildlife and much more. A locator map shows the position of each continent in its world context, and each map includes a simple numbered and lettered grid, allowing first-time readers to use the maps easily. This atlas is a fun reference tool that will be perfect for very young children to use at home and at school. Children will enjoy using and displaying the accompanying full-colour poster.
