Resource Bank is a series of English, Maths and Science books that reflect current trends in teaching. The series provides teachers with a variety of materials - posters, photocopiables and activity ideas - that focus on particular skills and/or knowledge apprpriate to curriculum content. They are structured to reflect the current approach of whole-class teaching followed by small group/individual and class review. Using the environment will complement 'Resource Bank Science KS1: Plants in their Environment' but will concentrate more on animals and their care. Plants will be used as an easy source of wide diversity and adaption. The sections of the book will each concentrate on one 'project' incorporating several activities.
