Tiny Troll loves his mummy more than anything, even puddles and earwigs, but when Mrs Troll begins curling her bristles, ready to go out, Tiny Troll bursts into tears. He wants to go too! What will it take for Mrs Hag, the babysitter, to settle him down to sleep? Patience, cuddles and mud-milk. And a goodnight kiss from Mum when she gets home.

Jenny O'Connor lives on a Shropshire smallholding with her comic-strip writing partner and two alpacas. After studying Drama at university, she has worked in magazine publishing ever since. Goblin Princess is her first book. Kate Willis-Crowley has illustrated for Chicken House, Hodder, Puffin and Scholastic USA since receiving her Masters Degree from the Royal College of Art in London. She lives by the sea with her cheeky little son, a tall bearded husband, and too many cats. Dawn was born in a blue house by the sea in Sussex. She now lives in a brown house in Gloucestershire with her two teenage daughters and lots of furry pets. In 2008 she did an MA in Writing for Young People at Bath Spa University, which was 100% fab. In the past, she has worked as a bereavement counsellor, a copywriter, a teaching assistant and a children's bookseller - but her best job has always been being a mummy. Dawn likes dancing to bad 80s songs, going for rainy walks, eating green soup, snoozing by her log-burner, and writing in cafes (PS: Never challenge Dawn to a water fight cos you'll lose).
