This is an excellent text book if you are studying GCSE geography. As a student taking the course currently I found it very helpful towards my work. It explained everything clearly and contained detailed information on most of the items I needed to research. It also gave me tips as to anything that I should research into greater detail. It was well written and clearly defined everything that was written. There were also some excellent case studies to assist me in practising the format that my coursework would take and also some good questions that made me consider things from different angles. * 4 star Amazon student review *

My daughter finds this book The New Wider World 3rd Edition very useful as it is great for reinforcing previous work done in class. It is well laid out, colourful, with key points and questions that aid learning. * 4 star Amazon parent review *

I thought this book is very good if you don't know much about geography. This book helped me understand the basics before going on and studying it at uni. I felt this book was very useful around exam time! * 4 star Amazon student review *
