Brenda Williams, a former elementary school English teacher, is now a highly regarded children's poet. Her other books for Barefoot Books include The Real Princess, Outdoor Opposites and Lin Yi's Lantern. Rosamund Fowler trained in design and illustration at Harriet Watt University and at the Edinburgh College of Art. She has created original illustrations for corporate design, advertising and packaging, and has been shortlisted for the Glenfiddich Awards for Illustration multiple times. She lives in West Sussex, England.
