This text explores such areas of geography as settlement, geomorphology, tectonic processes, ecosystems, population, economic activity, weather and climate and environmental issues. It is the third book in the three-book "Foundation Geography" series and aims to present accessible material for students at Key Stage Three of the National Curriculum. Content is covered in plain and simple language, with text in manageable sections. The books offer activities based on "learning by doing", with clearly-worded tasks (many with sample answers) and the step-by-step development of essential skills. The course is supported by a single book of answers (for all three pupil books) and photocopiable assessment material.
