Spellovision has come to Witchway Wood and everyone's got one. Pongwiffy thinks it's boring and prefers old-fashioned amusement - like learning to play the guitar. Gradually all the witches join her, and the group becomes so popular that Pongwiffy suggests they go on Spellovision as they're better than the rubbish already on. So the great Spellovision Song Contest is born. Anyone can enter - except the Goblins who only care about driving cars. They make off with Sheridan Haggard's car and, in the ensuing chase, crash into Witchway Hall just as the deciding votes are coming in. The witches soon decide they've had enough of Spellovision and music - they can't wait to get back to magic.
