Each chapter has a nice mix of narrative text and source material, which is always clearly separated...I particularly enjoyed looking at the visuals in this book, as there is a wide variety of cartoons, maps and posters that would help engage pupils. I would recommend this book as it is useful and covers the course well...It is definitely worth a look at by every history department. Scottish Association of Teachers of History
