In "How Much Is a Million?" by David M. Schwartz, young readers explore the concept of large numbers through vivid illustrations and engaging scenarios. The story features a group of children who embark on a journey to visualize what a million looks like. They encounter imaginative examples—like a million stars in the sky or a million fish in the sea—that help them grasp vast quantities in a tangible way. The book encourages curiosity about mathematics, making it both educational and entertaining, as it inspires children to think about numbers beyond their everyday experiences.
