Alan Durant is an established children's author who has written several books for young adults as well as fiction for young children, picture books and poetry. He has previously compiled Red Hot Reads: Vampire Stories for Kingfisher. He lives in Surrey. David Kearney, a talented black-and-white line artist with particular expertise in sports provides a full-page, action-packed illustration for each story. Judy Waite spent her childhood in Singapore, and then studied at the Portsmouth College of Art. She has already amassed an impressive body of published work for children, including picture book texts, educational titles and teenage fiction. She has two grown-up children, and lives in Southampton.
