This colourful book features costumes and clothes from all over the world, such as the garments decorated with tiny fragments of mirrors worn in India and Pakistan, and mola blouses from Panama, which are decorated with all sorts of motifs including plants, animals, spaceships and Coke bottles. It shows how costumes are made and how they are used. For example, the silk tunics worn by Mongolian warriors in ancient times helped to protect their bodies from arrow wounds. It also includes traditional clothing that you can make yourself, such as head-dresses and bandanas.
