Shelby Bloom is the new kid at school, and she's in search of an identity. Taking stock of herself, she worries that she's no sports superstar, no wiz kid, no social butterfly and no beauty queen. She loves to read, write, and joke around. Illustrator Leandra La Rosa lives and works in Palermo, Sicily. She was born in Trapani, a town on the island's western side, and since childhood her main interests have been illustration, animation, and music. Leandra studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Palermo and obtained a degree in graphic design. Since 2013 she has been working as a graphic designer and illustrator for many Italian agencies and publishing houses.
