In "Jack and the Beanstalk" by Nina Crews, a young boy named Jack trades his family’s cow for magical beans that grow into a towering beanstalk reaching high into the clouds. Curiosity drives Jack to climb the beanstalk, where he discovers a giant's castle filled with treasures and a fearsome giant. Jack's adventures lead him to steal golden eggs and a magical harp, but he must also evade the giant's wrath. Ultimately, Jack's daring actions change his life and fortunes, teaching themes of bravery, resourcefulness, and the importance of courage in the face of adversity.
