First published in 1983, this book is being re-released because today, as then, there is widespread concern about preventing the sexual abuse of children. There has been much publicity about adults using positions of trust and power to facilitate the abuse of children in this way. The challenge is the same as it was 20 years ago: to help children protect themselves from those adults who would prey on them. "No More Secrets For Me" is a book of stories to be read with children. Each centres around a common example of abuse to help children discriminate about who they can trust, how to avoid potentially abusive situations and how to tell an adult about abuse that may have already occurred.

There are 48 pages in this book. This is a picture book. A picture book uses pictures and text to tell the story. The number of words varies from zero ('wordless') to around 1k over 32 pages. Picture books are typically aimed at young readers (age 3-6) but can also be aimed at older children (7+). This book was published 2003 by Little, Brown & Company .
