Yolanda Browne is the author of a number of children's books including Getting Ready for Christmas, Mis Oraciones Antes De Dormir, The Story of Christmas: Daily Readings and Prayers: Scripture Readings Paraphrased for Young Children, and Daytime Prayers. Kathy Couri was born in New York, but grew up in Columbus, Ohio. She attended the Columbus College of Art and Design and was recruited out of school by a large greeting card company in Kansas City. Kathy left after a few years to freelance but continue to live in Kansas. She lives in a little house with too many weeds in a neglected garden, and two "friends" Hazel and Franklin, her official squirrel chasing dogs.
