Wednesday Kirwan is a graduate of Kansas City Art Institute and an award-winning children's illustrator and fine artist. Her illustrations are inspired by the children she's worked with as an elementary school art teacher and as an educator at the Bay Area Discovery Museum in Sausalito, California. Wednesday lives in San Francisco, California. Tony Mitton was born in North Africa and has also lived in Germany and Hong Kong. Now settled in Cambridge, England, Tony has written a number of picture books, including the Amazing Machines series (Kingfisher). This is Tony's first book with Bloomsbury. Alison Brown studied Fine Art at Liverpool and then became a graphic designer. She has been illustrating for the past three years. Alison was brought up in Bangor, Northern Ireland but she now lives in Leeds. Tom Jamieson is a principal joke writer for Private Eye magazine. He was also one of the head writers on the award-winning sketch series Dead Ringers, and has contributed to several radio and television programmes, including Have I Got News For You. This is Tom's first children's book. Olga Demidova studied at the Moscow Art Institute of Applied Arts, and worked as an animator. She is the illustrator of Peep Inside the Farm, part of the bestselling Peep Inside Usborne series. This is Olga's first picture book with Bloomsbury. Genie Espinosa is a graphic designer and children's book illustrator from Spain, who has brought her signature style to board games and toys as well as books for many different publishers. Dubravka Kolanovic lives in Zagreb, Croatia. She wrote and illustrated her first book, A Special Day, when she was 18-years-old. She then studied at the Academy of Visual Arts in Zagreb and has gone on to illustrate over twenty children's books
