In "The Queen is Coming to Tea" by Constanze von Kitzing, the charming tale unfolds as a little girl prepares for a very special guest—none other than the queen herself. With delightful anticipation, she sets her home and heart in order, planning every detail to ensure the perfect tea party. As her preparations come to life, the story captures the whimsy of childhood imagination and the magic of hospitality. Through colorful illustrations and heartwarming moments, the narrative explores themes of kindness, creativity, and the joy of sharing special occasions with loved ones. A celebration of dreams, friendship, and tea! [Generated by language model - please report any problems].

Constanze von Kitzing is an award-winning illustrator whose work has been published around the world. She has also written and illustrated I'm the Best, Are You Sleeping? and Can't Catch Me! for Barefoot Books. Constanze lives with her husband and two children in Cologne, Germany. Linda Ravin Lodding, like Arnold, has always loved talking back. and writing her own stories. Now she is the award-winning author of five children's books. Linda is originally from New York but has spent the past twenty years in Austria, The Netherlands, and now Sweden. Today she lives in Uppsala with her husband and teenage daughter. When Linda is not writing, she works for a children's rights organization initiated by the Swedish Royal Family. (And, also like Arnold, she is a smidgen afraid of the woods. )
