Mike Wohnoutka is the illustrator of Jack's House , Cowboy Sam and Those Confounded Secrets , and The Wizzy Foot . A graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design, Mike lives with his wife and two children in Minneapolis, Minnesota. A lifelong resident of St. Paul, author Constance Van Hoven has spent many hours enjoying Minnesota's 10, 000 lakes, including Lake of the Woods, where she often goes fishing with her husband. Constance, who holds an MFA in Writing for Children from Vermont College, is "happy as a loon in June" that her first book is about the great state of Minnesota.
