This is a sweet and humorous Valentine's Day story about a little girl's first crush. There's this Thing. And, well...a little girl would really like to know this Thing better. Yet she's not very brave and she doesn't know how to ask. She tries to trap It, but catches a bear instead. An arrow with her heart on it falls helplessly to the ground. What if she tried being someone else, she wonders? But who? She is only herself. Why is being noticed so hard? In this sweet and humorous tale, one little girl would love nothing more than to share her heart with another, if only she could overcome her shyness. She tries everything she can think of. Everything, that is, except letting the Thing come to her-which, of course, he does.
