"fuzzbuzz" has been specifically designed for children who are still non-readers at the age of seven and above. It takes a highly structured approach to learning to read, breaking down the skills of word recognition, comprehension and phonics into a series of carefully graded steps. Following on from the CD-ROM at Level 1, the next level gives more practice in word-level work, based on the stories at level 2. It features click-on words so that pupils can hear them and read them aloud, and offers motivating activities to promote word-learning and practice in matching pictures to written words.
