Long ago on a faraway mountain, two identical baby girls are born on the very same day: one a princess, and the other a poor village girl. Beautiful Princess Anneliese is set to marry King Dominick, but she is secretly in love with her tutor, Julian. One day, by chance, she meets Erika, a pauper - the two girls look amazingly alike! The girls' friendship is sealed when Princess Anneliese is captured and Erika must pretend to be the Princess to help save her. Then Erika meets and falls in love with the handsome King! In the delightful tale, two girls discover an unexpected friendship and learn that one's destiny, including meeting one's true love, is full of surprises too!
