Clement C Moore, American writer and poet, is best know for this poem, which he wrote for his children and published anonymously in New York's `Sentinel' on December 23rd 1823. Bruce Whatley is the author and illustrator of many best-selling children's picture books including The Night Before Christmas. He lives in Australia.
