Sigmund and his wife, recording artist Cindy Morgan, and their two children divide their time between Tennessee and Alberta, Canada. Julie Markes lives with her husband, Eric Schine, and their two sons, Charlie and Nicholas, in Brooklyn, New York. Her books include Thanks For Thanksgiving; I Can't Talk Yet, But When I Do . ; Good Thing You're Not An Octopus!; Sidewalk 123; and Sidewalk. In addition to illustrating the books about Mittens, Susan Kathleen Hartung has provided the art for numerous picture books, including One Leaf Rides the Wind by Celeste Davidson Mannis. She lives in Brooklyn, Michigan. Cindy Morgan is a wife, mother, and singer/songwriter. She has recorded eight records, had twenty number-one songs, and has won nine Dove Awards over her career, including her most recent Dove Awards for 2008 Songwriter of the Year and 2008 Country Song of the Year for "How You Live," the song she wrote for Point of Grace. Philomena O'Neill has illustrated numerous books for children, including The Thanksgiving Bowl (Pelican, 2007) and The Little Shrew Caboose (Pleasant St. Press, Spring 2009). She lives in Seattle with her husband.
