David Elliot was born in Ashburton, in the South Island of New Zealand. He is an award-winning illustrator and author who has achieved international success. He is the creator of Henry's Map, and his artwork has also appeared in the Redwall epic by Brian Jacques. Anika Denise is the author of many acclaimed books for young readers, including Monster Trucks, Starring Carmen!, as well as Baking Day at Grandma's and Bella and Stella Come Home, both of which are illustrated by her husband Christopher Denise . Anika lives in Rhode Island with her family.
