Thomas Kingsley Troupe has written more than thirty children's books. His book Legend of the Werewolf (Picture Window Books, 2011) received a bronze medal for the Moonbeam Children's Book Award. Thomas lives in Woodbury, Minnesota with his wife and two young boys. Christina Wald has done illustration for a wide variety of toys, games, books, and magazines-everything from board books and pop-up books to Star Wars role-playing games and G. I. Joe package art. She studied Industrial Design at the University of Cincinnati. When she is not in the studio, Christina is out urban sketching, biking, and/or traveling. She lives in Cincinnati with her toy engineer husband, Troy, and two cats. Peggy Thomas is the author of Farmer George Plants a Nation , an award-winning history and science picture book biography of George Washington, as well as more than a dozen other books for children. She lives in Middleport, New York, not far from the Roger Tory Peterson Institute. Laura Jacques is an acclaimed artist whose work has focused on wildlife, nature, and environmental awareness for children. Jennifer Keats Curtis, is an award-winning author who is frequently found among students and teachers, talking about literacy and conservation.
