A spooky graphic novel aimed at middle-grade readers. It follows a group of four misfit friends—Carolyn, Jarvis, Mitchell, and Rosario—who are known as "The Creeps" due to their reputation for solving strange, supernatural mysteries in their town of Pumpkins County. In this first installment, the town is overrun by giant mutant frogs, which have been created through some bizarre scientific experiment gone wrong. These aren't ordinary frogs—they're monstrous, and their presence threatens the entire community. The Creeps quickly find themselves in the middle of the chaos, tasked with figuring out the source of the mutation and stopping the Frankenfrogs from causing further destruction. The group must use their unique talents, bravery, and teamwork to solve the mystery while dealing with the quirky town folk, skeptical teachers, and plenty of oddball creatures. Along the way, the kids uncover hidden secrets about their town and themselves. The book is packed with humor, fast-paced action, and strange, spooky elements, making it both fun and suspenseful. The Creeps' mix of wit, resourcefulness, and loyalty forms the heart of the story, as they face down a bizarre menace that no one else is equipped to handle.
