Jan Godfrey is an experienced writer for children, with many published books to her name. She was formerly a schoolteacher and has recently retired to Dorset in the south of England with her husband, who is a Church of England clergyman. Chris Saunderson was born in London but brought up and education in South Africa. He works freelance, specialising in illustration, cartoon, design and fine art. Stephanie Jeffs has had more than a dozen books for children published worldwide, and writes curriculum material for Sunday schools. She is a former teacher of English and drama and actively involved in the life of her local church as a youth leader and housegroup leader. Previous BRF publications are the popular Practical Ways to Christmas Plays and the more recently published Rosie and Josh.

This book contains the following story:

Noah and the Flood
God sends a flood to rid the earth of evil, but spares Noah, his family and the world's animals. He warns Noah to build an ark and seven days before the deluge instructs him to get them all into the ark for safety. After the flood waters subside the ark comes to rest on the mountains of Ararat. God then instructs Noah and his family, and all the animals to leave the ark and repopulate the world.
