Dance with a skeleton..."The safest time to read this book is probably during the day - in bright sunshine," warns compiler Chris Powling in the introduction to this shivery collection of specially commissioned stories from some of today's very best writers for children. Meet the bravest man in the world, who dances with ghosts but is terrified of a tiny spider; discover the hidden secrets of an abandoned mine; witness the grotesque Loathly Lady, and shiver to the calls of the ghostly children of "The Siren's Song". From the humorous to the chilling, these are stories to intrigue and mystify, but above all to make the spine tingle. With all stories perfect to read aloud, this is a collection to share - but perhaps not too late at night!

There are 78 pages in this book. This is a short story book. This book was published 2002 by Pan Macmillan .
