This series introduces the core areas of chemical science, covering important concepts in an easy, accessible style. Each title contains a number of simple, safe experiments and demonstrations approached through the process of problem identification, hypothesis, experimentation and conclusion. It supports the QCA units in KS3 and KS4 schemes of work. It provides definitions of important terms, explanations of key concepts, and chemical formulae and word equations.
