Jonathan and Angie Scott are award-winning wildlife photographers based in Kenya. They have travelled to the furthest corners of the globe in search of material for their work and have produced more than twenty books. They are particularly proud to be authors of titles in the Collins Big Cat series, as education and conservation are particularly close to their hearts. PETER MILLETT is perhaps best-known for his Johnny Danger DIY Spy series ( Penguin Books Australia) and the Boy Hero Wannabe Zero series (Faber & Faber, UK). Based in Auckland, he makes a living writing children's books and educational readers. VENETIA DEAN studied for an Art and Design degree at Leeds University where she experimented for a while in ceramics and photography before deciding that illustration was her calling. She lives in Leeds with her husband, two children and two dogs (a Spaniel and a Labrador) - she says there's never a dull moment in her house! She loves living in Leeds as she can draw so much inspiration for her illustrations and photography. Tony Bradman was born in London in 1954. He has written poetry, picture Alfredo Belli lives and works in Rome. He illustrates children's books and school textbooks on behalf of different publishers, spanning age ranges from preschool through teen. He also contributes to various advertising agencies, graphic and web design studios as an illustrator and visualizer. An all-round artist, he uses a wide-range of styles and techniques, utilizing pencils, inks, watercolours, acrylic paints, oil pastels, digital and mixed media. not necessarily all together. Chris Oxlade is an experienced writer of children's non-fiction and specialises in scientific subjects. Kathryn Harper is the co-author of Cheeky Monkey, a three-level course for very young children. She has also written Galaxy, Time for English, See Saw, All Star English and a new pre-primary course for China. She has also written a number of readers, electronic materials and reference materials for different projects. Kathryn used to work as an international publisher at Macmillan where she published books for Africa, The Middle East and Latin America.
