Minerva May is a wonderful mechanic. She is able to fix many different things. When Verdin Vole and his viper, Vincent, come in with the Violet Viper Van, Minerva May makes a big mistake. Something happens that she feels terrible about. You see, Minerva May has trouble hearing everything that is said to her, and she is sometimes embarrassed to say so. She learns a big lesson in this story and so does her friend Verdin Vole. Young readers will be delighted by the colorful illustrations.
