Ken is a bunny who is not feeling well. Hen comes to take care of Ken. She does a fine job and soon Ken is well. Ken and Hen take young learners on a journey through short vowel sounds and sight words in this level one phonics reader. Simple, colorful illustrations and short sentences will soon have your child reading. Children look for the little ladybug on every page and at the end they get to answer questions about the story, look for differences between pictures, gather balloons from the balloon trees and much more.
