Charly Palmer , a graduate of the American Academy of Art, is a nationally recognized fine artist whose work is in private and public collections, including those of the McDonald's Corporation, the Coca-Cola Company, and Vanderbilt University. His art is inspired by his children and grandchildren. He lives in Atlanta. Kathryn Erskine worked as a lawyer for fifteen years beforerealizing that her real passion lay in writing. Mockingbird, her first novel to be published in the UK, won the National Book Award in America in 2011, and garnered wide critical acclaim on its publication here in 2012.
