When stars fill the sky at the end of the day, the Fabulous Flap doodles come out to play... But these kindly creatures don't just have fun. They also watch over the children as they sleep, and scare away any mean or nasty ghosts and ghouls.

Emily Twomey lives and works as an illustrator in Bristol. Since graduating with a first class degree in Illustration, she has worked with a wide range of clients including United Airlines, Scholastic, Buster Books and Oxford University Press. She has illustrated two picture books, the first of which ( The Loon on the Moon ) won the Dundee Picture Book Award 2012. Chae Strathie is a 36-year-old author of several picture books for young children. Chae lives in a small coastal village in Fife with his wife Corinna, daughter Eilidh.
