"The Gap in Between" by Suzanne Smart delves into the complexities of love, loss, and the spaces we navigate in relationships. The story follows two individuals, each grappling with their own pasts and the emotional voids they carry. As they unexpectedly cross paths, they begin to explore their vulnerabilities and confront the barriers that keep them from true connection. The narrative intricately weaves themes of healing and self-discovery, inviting readers to reflect on the gaps in their own lives. Through poignant prose, Smart captures the delicate balance between emotional distance and the yearning for closeness. [Generated by language model - please report any problems].

Born in Yorkshire but now living in Cardiff Bay, Ann began writing over 30 years ago. She has had a variety of factual articles and editorials published over the years, alongside winning awards for a number of website articles. All this changed when she converted to fiction writing upon retirement from business. Ann has a love of history and travel and she enjoys writing about a varied selection of subjects, having launched an historical novel and a mystery short story. Her favourite writer is Dorothy Dunnett; a Scottish writer with the art of being able to `marry fact and fiction' convincingly. Ann's latest offerings are a selection of children's picture books. Full of colour illustrations that younger children will love they are available in print format, ebook and as mobile apps.
