"Science Scope: Biology" is one of three books in a series of science texts for teachers who teach 11-14 science as three separate subject disciplines. The books are aimed broadly at middle-ability students, with the core material at National Curriculum Levels 5/6, but contain all the material needed for pupils to reach the highest levels. This higher-level text is separated out from the body of the text in boxes, so that teachers can ensure that for their average-ability pupils, they are teaching no more than they need to teach. In addition, the books include all the material needed for pupils to complete their Common Entrance 13+ exam.

This book is part of a book series called Science Scope .
