Kaye Umansky is very well known for her PONGWIFFY stories (Puffin) and other Chris d'Lacey is a hugely talented children's writer. He originally wanted to be a songwriter, and A teacher for many years - Pat Moon gave up the day job in 1991, when she published her first books for children - both in verse, Earthlines and Triplets. Since then she has gone on to write novels and stories across a variety of age groups, and has had over twenty books published to date. Pat lives in Norwich with her husband, three kids and two cats! Thomas Bloor is the author of seven children's novels, including The House of Eyes, winner of the 2003 Stockton Children's Book of the Year Award, and Worm in the Blood which won the Calderdale Children's Book Award 2006. Pat Moon is the hugely popular author of 'Do Not Read This Book' and the forthcoming 'Four Days Till Friday'. Kaye Umansky is well known for her wicked 'Pongwiffy' stories, Celia Rees has climbed new heights with the powerful 'Witch Child', while Chris D'Lacey and Thomas Bloor are well known for 'Fly Cherokee Fly' and 'The Memory Prisoner' respectively. Celia Rees lives in Leamington Spa where she writes her novels. She has been shortlisted for both the Guardian and the Whitbread Children's fiction awards. Her novels have been translated into over 20 languages.
