Janet Duggan was born in London. She lives in a beautiful Hertfordshire village where she has lived with her husband, Stephen, for 42 years. She has one son, Matthew, and, so far, one grandson, Joseph. Janet has always loved writing and was inspired to write for publication when she was a pupil at Radlett Preparatory School and won prizes for her writing - especially as one of the judges was an author. Later, Janet worked at the BBC for four years, in Central London, then trained and qualified as a teacher, spending most of her career (28 years) teaching English at a comprehensive school in Luton. She is now retired.
