She has also contributed articles to Audubon, BBC Wildlife, Omni, and Sierra. She lives in Westport, Connecticut. Jim Postier received a master's degree in illustration from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is a staff illustrator at the renowned Mayo Clinic and lives in Kasson, Minnesota.
