Each title introduces: the country and region; the country's food culture - eating and food habits & customs; utensils; safety, hygiene, quantities and measurements; The books each offer 17 simple, healthy recipes with an introduction, list of ingredients (and suggested alternatives), special utensils and step-by-step instructions.

Sue Townsend is one of Britain's favourite comic authors. Sue passed away in 2014 and is survived by her husband, four children, ten grandchildren and millions of avid readers.
