This volume of piano duets contains more than 20 pieces, including many arrangements of famous classical, popular and folk tunes, as well as music which has been especially composed for this book. The first few duets are fairly simple, to help the readers get used to playing together. The music steadily progresses to more difficult tunes towards the end of the book. Throughout the book, friendly and colourful cartoon characters explain the musical terms and symbols, and give advice about playing duets. This series of tunebooks for young players combines carefully graded tunes with useful technical hints and interesting facts about the background to the music. Other titles in the series include "Easy Piano Tunes", "Easy Recorder Tunes", "Easy Keyboard Tunes", "Easy Violin Tunes", "Easy Clarinet Tunes", "Easy Flute Tunes" and "Easy Guitar Tunes".
