A series of write-in activity books to help children aged three to five develop basic literacy skills. The four books provide practice and build confidence and understanding. The First English Skills series should help children to develop and understand the relationship between initial sounds and their letter representations, identify rhyming words, understand onset and rime, improve phonemic blending and increase their speed and accuracy in reading and writing. Each book provides a range of activities which support the English Curriculum for Key Stage One.
