"Nice" by Canizales follows the journey of a young girl named Maria as she navigates the complexities of adolescence in a vibrant urban setting. Struggling with her identity and the expectations of her family and peers, Maria finds solace in her love for art. As she discovers her talent, she learns to express her emotions and confront the challenges around her—bullying, friendship, and self-acceptance. The narrative beautifully intertwines themes of creativity and resilience, showcasing Maria's evolution from a shy girl into a confident artist ready to embrace her true self and make her mark in the world.
