"The Singing Year" by Candy Verney is a delightful exploration of nature and the changing seasons through the lens of song and music. The narrative follows a community of individuals who come together to celebrate the rhythms of nature, from the vibrant sounds of spring to the quiet melodies of winter. Each season brings its own unique beauty and challenges, inviting characters to reflect on their lives, relationships, and the world around them. This journey not only highlights the joy of singing but also emphasizes the importance of connection—both with oneself and the environment in which we live.
